I'm A Winner!

Look what I won from my quilting friends at the Quilting Corner in Israel.  Thank you so much! My mind is whirring away on how I want to incorporate this wonderful panel into a quilt.
The only project I have to share with you this week is the quarterly block challenge from our quilt guild. It measures about 24 inches square. Because of the size these blocks will work up into a quilt very quickly. Maybe I'm on a winning roll and I'll be the recipient of the challenge!

I'm Back!

Actually I haven't been anywhere interesting. Just further into the snow belt to serve jury duty. That's over and now I'm back. Well...I have to admit I only served 3 hours. And I didn't actually get chosen for the jury but I did have to show up. And yes, it snowed while I was there. Couldn't see across the street most of the time.

I've finished spinning this beautiful yarn that I stated at the last quilt guild meeting. Purple is becoming a favorite color of mine.
Here's hoping you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Purim!

A Hard Week

Just as I started my other blog I came down with a miserable head cold. I'm feeling better now but still not quite up to par. Last night I slept for 12 hours which is very unusual for me, I'm usually up by 5 or 6. So because of that cold, I haven't gotten much done on my quilts or anything else for that matter. However I have pictures of a couple of pins that I've previously created. I'm sorry the pictures came out so glaring. Photoshop wasn't cooperating.
A sheep button given to me by my daughter inspired this pin.

This pin was inspired by the little quilting charm my daughter also gave me.

A New Project And A New Blog

When I get tired of seeing snow this time of year, I put the snowmen decorations away and look for something to brighten the atmosphere in our home. Last year I started collecting cardinal decor. Cardinals being the birds not the baseball team. LOL I saw this pattern on Pinterest and had to order it.
I've started on it and have progressed further than what this picture shows and I can't wait to get it finished.

And now for the big announcement!!!!! I've started another craft blog. It's aimed at those of faith returning from the nations back to the Hebrew roots of the Bible but all are welcome to visit and use my ideas for themselves. I include, and will continue to add to, many links to related websites and sources for crafting materials and will be sharing my own creations and giving ideas of how to incorporate their faith into their crafts. I will be posting twice a week, once on Monday and again on Thursday. Between my two blogs I'll be spending a lot of time in the studio crafting. My new blog is:
